As a videographer, you will be expected to deliver the highest production standards across a full-length visualised podcast series. The key elements of the job are:
- Managing the full video and audio capture on location at podcast recordings. This includes:
- Travelling to a location with all cameras, sound and lighting equipment needed for the shoot
- Unpacking and setting up equipment- testing lights, camera angles and running a sound check
- Monitoring audio and video throughout recordings ensuring everything is running smoothly
- Packing down efficiently and quickly
- Transferring files to an online shared drive no longer than 24 hours after recording
Who are we looking for?
You’ll be someone who has significant production experience and is comfortable managing all elements of video and audio capture for visualised podcasts. You will be technically-minded, work well in high pressured environments and be a reliable, trusted pair of hands.

Location
This is a role which will require you to work on location at recordings or in London based studios.
Example kit list for a podcast recording featuring 2x hosts and 1x guest:
- 4 x Cameras, one for each of the speakers plus 1 wide for a collective shot
- 3 x Podcast Microphones
- 3 x Rode Wireless Mics for back up audio connected to the cameras
- 1 x Zoom H6 Pro Recording device
- 3 x XLR cables
- 3 x Lights on C-Stands (1 x main aputure light and 2 soft boxes to boost)
- 8 x batteries and chargers (recordings can last up to 2 hours each time)
- 4 x 512GB SD cards for each camera
As a video editor, you will be responsible for creating premium and compelling video content in short and long-form formats for a variety of podcasts. Your primary role will be to take raw video footage and transform it into engaging videos, incorporating text, stills, motion graphics and design elements that capture the essence of the show and resonate with target audiences. Key responsibilities include:
- Edit and assemble raw video footage and raw audio into polished, professional content
- Add music, sound effects and voiceovers
- Integrate transitions, motion graphics, and colour grading for final video delivery
- Work with various video formats and ensure videos are optimised for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, websites, etc.)
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with producers to ensure videos meet goals and deadlines
Who are we looking for?
You’ll be someone who has significant experience in creating engaging social-first content and full-length visualised podcasts. You will have a creative mindset, with strong attention to detail and initiative.
Importantly, you will have/be:
- Proficient in industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
- Ability to manage and organise large amounts of video content, ensuring projects remain on time and within scope
- Experience with colour correction, grading, and audio mixing
- Ability to multi-take and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
- A strong understanding of social media platforms and their specific requirements
- An interest in podcasts
Location
This is a hybrid role which will require you to work remotely or you will be welcome to work in our London office.
Freelance Fees
Our freelance day rates vary depending on experience and scope of work from £200- £550 per day.
